I have loved this Chance series as I do like Ms Warren's later work in general. Here we have Rose Chance, a GP and the H who is a surgeon. The h has worked out that she is one of the Chance children, who were adopted. The premise of these books is that the 11 siblings are either adopted or the Chance parents true children. They are allowed to ask about their parentage when they turn 16. This h knows she can't be because she loves the finer things in life and is drawn to rich successful characters and doesn't want any children. The 'lost' princess theme is lightly used in the book. It's witty and the H is so obviously not the noble prince. He is a gorgeous, swarthy Greek who has worked hard by waiting on tables as a student to get into the position of being a celebrated surgeon but he dresses shabbily and often doesn't shave. There is chemistry between the two but the h eventually decides that she'll have a secret affair with no messy relationship attached. The H's feelings are made clear all the way through but I loved the way he handled the h. I had some problems liking the h but the author has the skill to turn it around and she does. All I have to do now is wait for the next instalment.Product details

5 stars for this book. Enjoyed the story of the book would like to read more about this couple. Best book I have read in a long time.
Good reads are becoming quite limited in this genre. When I pay. for a book or novel I expect to be compensated for it. This was novella length. Only flaw.
A wonderful book, this author brings out the true meaning of romance. I really care about these characters and feel apart of their family! I look forward to spending time with this family... write on!!!
Love number four as much as the previous three. Stories that have some of the same characters are fun to read. Ms. Warren has a knack for good and interesting stories that do not repeat themselves.
I've really liked the books in this series, and enjoyed seeing just a bit more of the amazing Chance family. I liked this one too as the Doctor sister finds love, but I do wish that this had been just a longer- at least an epilogue would have been nice. This sets up for brother Jack's story and possibly pulls a thread for Marguerite's. I am really looking forward to more.
I especially loved this story. You've got two people who are complete opposites yet feel the same way about what type of person they date. Throughout the story you can feel there is an attraction between the two but they have rules, they don't date doctors. Throughout the story events occur that cause the two to work more closely together. Will they forget their rules and see where things go or will the continue to fight nature and their feelings for one another. I'm not good with these reviews but I do believe in sharing the fact that I thought it was a great story and worth the read. I enjoyed the entire story and definitely recommend.
First, I love this family. It is a big family, lots of kids, some adopted, some natural a loving father and mother. Of course as in all families they are all different, they have their issues and thoughts. all the books are stand alone books and could be read in any order. I liked starting with the mother and dad's story and then working my way through the kids.
This is Rose's story. She is a doctor, a bit up-tight and very rigid in her thinking and actions. She has rules she lives by and doesn't allow anything to change the way she thinks and feels. That is until she meets the hero of this story. He is a surgeon, a very good one. He is gorgeous but in a very rough and ready way. Her total opposite. You absolutely LOVE him. And even as much of a snob as she is you really like her too and sort of sympathize with how she is and who she thinks she is. Their story is really, really good. I loved it. Naturally they have a HEA and there is no bad guys, wild adventures, etc. It is just two people discovering who they are and what is really important as they find their way to each other.
I loved it and I highly recommend it. From start to finish you will not want to put it down and you will feel good when you finish it. I can hardly wait to read about the next kid's story. Of course, they are all adults so it is none of that stupid teen stuff, these are folks on their way to establishing who they are and who they want. Good reads, I love them.
